Ferrari's impressive yacht will "fly" over the waves without a combustion engine: futuristic looks and cutting-edge technology

Ferrari has decided to fully enter other competitions and has literally launched itself into the sea with an impressive sailboat without a combustion engine and with a truly futuristic look. The Italian brand, in Maranello, has unveiled its new engineering gem, the Hypersail, which will enter competition starting next year, 2026, if all goes according to plan.
Technology adapted to the new timesThis impressive work by the Italian company will be 30 meters long and will ride the waves, as we've previously emphasized, without using a single liter of fossil fuel thanks to its new technology, design, and approach.
The Hypersail was designed by Guillermo Verdier , a prestigious naval architect, and Giovanni Soldini , one of the most famous and renowned sailors in the world and project manager of this great and wonderful work of engineering.
"The convergence of different cultures and advanced technologies has allowed us to build a yacht that is revolutionary in many ways," Soldini added at the presentation of the sailboat, which will feature an innovative structure and an onboard control system directly inspired by "Ferrari's expertise in aerodynamics and simulation."
Characteristics"It will be the first monohull in the world capable of sailing on three points of support thanks to its foils," stated the leaders of the large and innovative project, also explaining that the yacht will be powered solely and exclusively by "solar, kinetic, and wind" energy.
During sailing, only three small wings will remain submerged, namely the canted keel, an alternate side keel, and the rudder, significantly increasing speed and reducing hydrodynamic drag, allowing the sailboat to literally "fly" over the water and become a true Formula 1 racer of the sea.
This competitive 'monster' will also feature a control system created using the brand's cutting-edge technology that will regulate each and every one of its characteristics , from power distribution to the boat's tilt.
Where will you compete? This is possibly the big question for fans of offshore racing. Well, the Hypersail, despite not yet confirming which specific tournaments it will compete in, will be seen in high-level regattas , and everything points to its competitiveness against the biggest giants of recreational sailing.
"When you look at what drives Ferrari, it's passion and competence in the service of the impossible," emphasized company president John Elkann at the unveiling of one of the Italian brand's greatest innovations throughout its history. Without a doubt, the Hypersail will be a big talker in nautical competition.
